Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said Wednesday screenwriter Simon Monjack died of acute pneumonia and severe anemia in May. Monjack, 40, was married to "Clueless" and "Sin City" actress Brittany Murphy, who died in December of similar causes, E! News reported.
